In the bottom of the first, things looked pretty bleak...
as Ian allowed 2 singles, 2 walks and a double for a total of 4 earned runs - while throwing 34 pitches. But, it was a bit encouraging that he kept the damage right there through the next 5 innings, scattering a few more walks and a few more singles and having a couple nice DP's turned behind him.
Unfortunately, the hitters weren't able to help much...
they were gettin' 'em on ok, just not gettin' 'em in and the 9 hits equated to only 3 runs
At least the bullpen got some rest...
as Jason came in and cruised through the 7th. Then in the 8th, allowed a lead-off double, retired the next 2 batters and then gave up a homer to put the Halos up by 4
And man, is Jose havin' a season...
3 more hits, including a solo shot (career high 23 for the season)
