Early on, things weren't looking too good for Jason Vargas but, he hung in there through six and Tom and Chance came in for the 7th and 8th respectively, each only facing them minimum.
Then, it was heart-attack time - with a one-run lead in the 9th, Brandon loaded the bases with NOBODY out... but, miraculously escaped. Whew!
