I went from feeling "gotta win this for Felix" to "just win" to "please-oh-please let Felix be OK!"
I was running errands all day so didn't get to see any of the game and, I think I'm actually glad about that. It was bad enough hearing the call when Felix got hit, not sure I could have taken seeing it live...
Thank heavens it sounds like it's not too serious, "contusion", no fracture.
Credit the BP with 4.2 scoreless innings...
though Jeff Gray allowed two of Felix's inherited runners to score when he committed TWO errors
Shawn Kelley is looking strong since his return from the DL - SEVEN K's in 10.2 innings and no ER
Obviously not their best offensive OR defensive effort...
Wedge described it as "the ugliest game of the year". But at least, for the most part, what little production there was came from the rooks/young ones (hits by Kyle, Dustin, Justin, Adam, Alex - runs by Kyle, Dustin, Alex - RBI by Mike and Justin)
