A surprise visit from my daughter who lives in Lake Tahoe precluded me from watching the game so I'll beg off on the full fledged game post as well.
In perusing the box score, looks like the pitching was pretty much as you would write it up...
- 7 innings from your starter (Beavan)
- 1 inning setup (Wilhelmsen)
- 1 inning save (League)
- FOUR of the SIX hits were of the extra base variety
- TWO doubles - Ichiro and Kyle
- TWO homers - Justin and Brendan
A few less hits than you'd like to see from the offense but, a nice power ratio...
