The good news...
Mr. Viva Las Vargas held the Red Sox to FIVE hits and ONE run through EIGHT full
The bad news...
Red Sox pitching (despite the starter going only 4+) held the M's to FOUR hits and ONE run in TEN innings and Brandon League surrendered the two hits and sac-fly that brought home the winning run for Boston.
I wasn't able to watch the game, but did listen to most of it as I was prepping for my son's graduation party. Despite the poor hit total, the M's had their chances with SEVEN walks, a HBP and a few well-timed stolen bases. Opportunity knocked but, it fell on deaf ears.
The orange birds fly into town next for three...
