G147 | They are having fun again...

M's 4 | White Sox 3 (14)

What is is about the M's and WS?
Today was the 2nd 14-inning game they played each other this season...
and the M's pulled it out both times :-)

Jose and Bill both going deep to tie the game in the 9th = great

Brandon's first start at home, including 6 walks and 3 runs in 5 innings = not so great

The bullpen's 8.2 innings of shutout ball = fantastic
Oh, and what a way for Adam Moore to make his big league debut (catching nearly every arm down in the 'pen ;-)

Ichiro's game winning hit and the celebration that ensued
= priceless

  1. What Kotsay did to that fan was great, don't know if you caught it!

Also, Bill Hall reminds me so much of Ron Gant. He just half-swings it out. Kind of like Utley as well!

Got to get better Morrow! Stop screwing with him management!

  2. I did see the Kotsay "trick" on the highlights (looks like he's a guy that'd fit right in w/ Jr ;-)

Bill Hall is reminding all of us M's fans of Mark McLemore (Mr. "Mac" of all trades ;-)

As for Brandon, I don't know that it was all managements fault - he's been a bit of a waffler himself. That said, if he would throw more strikes than balls, I do believe he would have a bit more success.Hopefully, things will get straightened out in the off season and he can go into next season with a concrete plan...

  3. Yeah, I know, that's why I blamed Morrow first!

I liked how mlb.com brought up the end of the rangers-angels game. lol, the rangers announcers had a pretty funny line in there.

Than , they brought up the end up the M's-Yanks game abnout 5 seconds before Ichiro just destroyed that pitch. That was pretty awesome to watch.

Of course, both him and Rivera are on my fantasy team!

Looks like Felix and burnett pitched their asses off in that one!

  4. It was definitely a fun one to be at!
I'll be there tomorrow and Sunday as well.

I get this feeling that the ALW may be a pretty exciting place in 2010....
