g74 | so much for dominating Interleague play...

Mariners 0 | Padres 2

Well, like yesterday, the starting pitcher accounted for a good portion of the offense.
Unfortunately there were no runs, only hits and Noesi had TWO of the FIVE total.
Seager had the only extra base hit (a pinch hit double)

The good news is, Noesi pitched really well...
seemed to really take his experience to heart this time and put it to work for him.
He went SIX full, gave up SEVEN hits and THREE walks but only TWO runs and struck out SIX.

And how 'bout Charlie?!?
Furbush is on FIRE! He went another TWO scoreless/hitless innings and struck out TWO.
A stat-tweet from the M's says - since May 13th, Charlie has struck out 27 in 20.2 innings in 16 games, posting a 1-0 record and a 0 .44 ERA

M's finish Interleague play 4-8...
first time ever posting less than a .500 record vs. the senior circuit.

Back home they go for TEN (OAK, BOS, BAL)
