back-to-back double-digit strikeouts for the starters for the first time since August of 1999 (Abbott and Garcia) way to go, Jason - nice bounce back.
League was the only M's pitcher who was less than stellar (allowed a couple of singles, and an inherited runner to score before recording the final out of the 7th).
Furbush, despite walking two (one intentionally) ending up striking out the side in the 8th and Wilhelmsen did his typical closing time thing: ground out, fly out, strike out.
Good to see Travis Blackley back in the league, even though it was with the opposition...
he held the M's to five hits and two runs in seven innings. But then, in the 8th, Wells singled and stole second which allowed him to score when Ryan (after a great AB) singled.
