G123 | and the Tribe taking it right back

M's 3 | Indians 4
Watched a little on TV before heading to the Seahawks first home pre-season game and then tried to listen here and there - but Qwest is a pretty loud place, even in pre-season :-)

Another "what could have/should have been"....

despite his third quality start and some sparkling defense (as evidenced by the photos posted here) Mr. Fister denied his second victory as the M's lost for the second time on this road trip in extra-innings in a game they could have, should have, easily won.

It's the same-old, same-old with the bats...
the exasperation of not being able to get the runner in from third with less than two outs (happened at least twice by my count - once prior to the extras, once during).

Wak also was pretty upset about Michael's error in the 7th....
saying it definitely turned the tenor of the game (though he was quick to point to it as a learning - as is the reality with young players)
. Wak was prepared to let Doug go the distance, but plans changed when that routine fly ball dropped.
