It's certainly FAR from a "merry month of May" :-(
The news is bad on every front ....
~ Milton's situation (to be addressed in a separate post)
~ Mark's injury (15-day DL, herniated disc)
~ Jack's injury (although supposedly not serious)
~ another anemic offensive performance (but signs of breakout - 2 2B, 1 HR)
Kudos to Cliff, while he wasn't nearly as dominating as he was against the Rangers (to be expected when going up against one of the most productive offenses in baseball) he pitched well enough for the M's to win. They just, once again, didn't get it done.
