OK, so if RRS was going to cough up another one, BIG time, why couldn't they have scratched out those runs in two of the other games this road trip? Coulda won both of the previous series. Guess it doesn't work that way....

p.s. I shouldn't ignore Tui's first homer (even though it was "aided" a bit by Davis's glove) and Lopey's 3RBI - baby steps...

ReplyDeleteThe bats, well.... it's hard to know what to do when six of them are batting in the .100's. I don't mean to make fun of, far from it...I think the A's at full strength have the capability of being an above average line up, but other than playing Saunders more and getting Ichiro out of the lead off spot..I'm out of suggestions!
I initially thought it was Gutierrez who hit it out at first. You can't really blame Davis (in general). It's a tough play, it's the heel of his glove and it's outta here! I would have been a lot more mad if anyone was on base!
I like how Cust had a fly ball to the track..he's backing up for it...hits his head against the wall...closes his eyes (!) and catches it! I don't know if that should be on the 'top ten' or 'not top ten'.
Nradley has to hurry the hell up and got back on the field. They need him!
Rosy, I'm not liking your un-rosy ramblings. The hitting will return, I promise you .... Maybe not to what you would like it to be but it can't stay this bad. Crazy will return and when he does the hitting will pick up. Gotta get Cliff some wins !!!

ReplyDeleteJean ~ Indeed they need to get Cliff some wins... feel SO bad for him. Not sure when Milton will return, but hope he's able to be productive when he does. I was hoping your Pad's pitchers might take a little pitty and grove a couple to Junior over the weekend ... so he can go out on a good note :-)
