't was NOT a Happy Felix Day. 't is rare, but it happens...
And, for Felix, moreso in May than any other month. Going into this game, Felix was 7-15 with a 4.90 ERA for his career in May. I look at it this way - four more starts to go and then he really kicks it into gear - he's 15-3 with a 2.50 ERA for his career in June :-)
a few bright sights...
- 3 solid innings of relief from David Pauley
- a Michael Saunders homer
- a Chone Figgins stolen base
- 3 Adam-to-Ryan-to-Smoak double plays
unfortunately, the bleak peeks won out...
- 2 MOTO hitters go 0fer
- 1-6 w/RISP
- Ace high pai gow
Here's to ending on a good note in Baltimore tomorrow, as things ain't gettin' any easier when then head to Cleveland.
