g28 | Jason gets the "Felix treatment"

Mariners 2 | Twins 3

Jason seemed to have everything working tonight...
and, of course deserved a better fate.
He left with a 2-0 lead in the 7th after getting the lead-off guy to ground out and then giving up a double

and the BP let him down BIG time...
~ Tom W came in and walked two to load the bases and could have been out of it with a 1-2-3 DP but for some inexplicable reason, he threw the ball ~wide~ to 2B and the Twins scored their first run, in like, forever. He got a second out but, not without giving up the tying run (poor Jason!)
~ Charlie F came in and promptly allowed an infield single to Joe Mauer to break the tie
~ Delebar is FINALLY able to retire the side but, not before hitting a batter, then getting a fly out

of course, the offense was no help either...
~ seems as if they should have been able to muster up a bit more vs. Pavano
~ though they faired even worse vs. the Minny BP (2K's vs Pavano, 6 K's vs. the BP)
~ once again, a nice ratio of XBH (3 of the 8 were doubles) just not enough with RISP
~ TWO GDIP :(
