Another of those games at an inopportune time for me to give it my undivided attention, so I must go by the box score and various highlights I've since heard/seen.
JJ Hardy has three home runs so far this season - two of them off Michael Pineda...
The first one came last month in Baltimore, the second one this afternoon at Safeco Field in the 2nd inning ~ sometimes you just have someone's number, I guess.
But, he would be the only one that had Michael's number... 106P - 7IP - 6H - 1ER - 1BB - 7K
The bats would come right back in the bottom of the inning...
Miggy singled, went to 2B on a Guti flyout and scored (in the typical no holes barred Olivo way) on Jack Wison's single. The M's only managed five hits total - two each by Ichiro and Jack W and the one by Miggy. Brendan Ryan ended his 11 game hit streak.

So, the Jonesing started in the bottom of the 4th...
when he made an an eye-popping, Williesque catch to absolutely rob Miggy. Later, in the 8th he would homer off Jamey Wright to break the 1-1 tie at the time and, ultimately, get credit for the walk-off win.

Oh well, can't win 'em all...
At least they took the series and Michael pitched extremely well (seems to have recovered from his 'star-struckness')
Now, Rays come to town for four!
