And apparently, some pretty spiffy D....
Had the game on in one ear in the back seat of the car on my way home from Portland :-)
M's had the lead early and Erik was doing pretty well - allowed no runs through 5 innings, but then he couldn't make it through the 6th (gave up a two-run homer to Blalock and then Batista came in and gave up a solo shot to Cruz that tied the game. Luckily, the M's had their rally shoes on and were able to go ahead via a couple of singles in the 7th and hold on (with the usual suspects: Mark and David) for the victory and the series win.
Nice way to head to the break, taking 3 of 4 from the division rivals ahead of you...
