M's 4 | Twins 2
pitchin' just keeps on truckin'...
~Nice to see EriK get the win despite his lack of control (or, more accurately, CB Buckner's lack of eyesight ;-)
He threw WAY too many pitches for 5 innings but, he kept 'em in it.
~BP was awesome - each of the four gave up a hit and combined for 2 walks but kept them at bay.
Garret and Sean particularly impressive vs. the M&M boys :-)
bats comin' alive...
~12 more hits today - and gotta like the XBH ratio - 3 homers and a double
~5 walks, liking the patience (although, to be fair, that could of been more CB's zone than M's patience)
~Welcome back, Jamie - indeed!
I was happy when he got that single in his first at bat - whodathunk he'd hit one out?!?!
and the leather?
Well, no spectacular plays but no errors either - they made the plays they needed to make. If they can just keep doing that, with this pitching staff (who, by the way, leads the AL in ERA) they can start racking up some W's pretty consistently.
Off day tomorrow in Baltimore, then the O's for three.
