M's 6 | Twins 9
Baby steps...
~ the six runs today was two more than they scored in the past four games combined
~ Adrian FINALLY hit his first homer (and was 3/4)
~ Miggy and David looking okay, Denny got in a HUGE jam, but was able to get out of it
6 losses in-a-row, not too much fun....
~ and three straight series losses - eek!
~ Yuni popping up -ON THE FIRST PITCH- with the bases loaded - argh!
~ Adrian with TWO errors - ugh!
~ Something seems wrong with Felix - yikes!
good thing this might be the new nl west!
ReplyDelete*sigh*
ReplyDeleteI liked it so much better when the division was strong ... remember those days, Daniel?
unfortunately I do, when the A's had 4 winnable series' and lost them all in game 5!
ReplyDeleteFelix has to do better than that and Wak HAS to get Sweeney in the line-up more even if it means sitting Griffey. Geez he's batting 3rd today? At least bat Branyan behind him.
Poor Bedard!
Yeah, obviously gotta get Felix turned around.
ReplyDeleteHe seemed to make some great strides in maturity both last year and this year. But last night, he kinda seemed to lose his composure when Wlad lost the ball in tephlon in the 1st.
As for Junior ...
He's only started six more games than Mike (played in only four more). Frankly, I'd like to see them BOTH in there (but then it's crossing fingers and toes and holding breath that he doesn't get hurt in the outfield).
Anyway - Wak made the right call today (as did YOURS TRULY :-)
I thought I remembered Jr being pretty good with the PINK bat. Turns out I was right he's 7/21 for homers on Mother's Day :-)
