Gotta give props to Juan Rivera ...
he absolutely ROBBED Russell of a homer in the 8th inning.
The very next batter, Jose, on a two ball count, hit it to the VERY same spot and Juan ALMOST did it AGAIN!
Thank heaven's ALMOST only counts in horseshoes :-)

Please find a way to keep 'em rolling and to inspire confidence in their competence. They may not be World Series bound (at least not THIS year) but if they play like they did last night, they can at least make the ALW an interesting divisional race right up to September.
