M's 1 | A's 6
bleak peeks...
~ canNOT walk seven batters and expect to win and 0 fer w/RISP doesn't help either (the few times there were actually RISP)
~ HUGE difference in this game was truly the DEFENSE:
sterling play by the A's and a pathetic performance by the M's
~ Jaku pitches decently vs. the Halos and the BoSox and then sucks (both times) vs. the A's
(granted, ZERO help from his D)
~ Joh w/ a fractured toe :-(
no bright spots for the M's...
But, local boy Travis Buck had himself a day - scoring three runs and robbing AB of a XBH ;-)
Ichiro 4 for 4, 0 runs. That says just about everything!
ReplyDeleteHow did Johjima get a fractured toe.
via Adam Kennedy's spike in the play at the plate...
ReplyDeleteCan you make some prognostications re: the A's winning, please?
;-)
Ow, I'll have to look at that.
ReplyDeleteWell, the A's made some pretty stupid plays also.
going to 3rd on a hard hit ball to short, genius.
walking to 1st on a 3-2 count, always like when that happens.
geez, take a look at all these games today.
Blowouts, no hitting contests, 10 run come backs, 10 game winning streak.
If I was a rays fan right about now, I don't know what I'd do!
ahhh ...
ReplyDeleteM's fans know first hand about those pesky Tribe come-backs ;-)
(see 2001 when the M's led 14-2 and lost 14-15 )
It has been a rather crazy day in baseball.
But, at least the Rangers lost and (so far) the Halos are losing big.
