Wouldn't you know it?
Finally some good signs from the offense...
~ 3 home runs (I know... it's Arlington, but they gotta start somewhere)
~ a RBI double
~ 2 stolen bases
~ taking advantages of miscues by the opposition
~ 2 sacrifices (including Russell's in the 11th that got Beltre to 2nd and he ended up scoring the go-ahead run)
Only to have the pitching struggle...
~ Jarrod was OK - I guess giving up ONLY 4 runs in Texas is not that bad.
But, the fact that two of the four walks he issued came around to score was.
~ David was a bit shaky but he, Sean and Garrett were able to get through nine without giving up any runs.
Closer, stage right...
... and thar she blows!

The good news is they have a chance to get one back quickly
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to have a devastating loss, might as well be the game before the 'get-away day'!
Oh, btw
